The Mai-Wel Group is one of Australians leading disability service providers and the largest in the lower Hunter area of NSW, Australia’s largest regional population centre.
In 2005, Liveware Solutions came on board as the software development partner to project management the creation and ongoing provisioning of service for the wider distribution of CIMSability.
The Mai-Wel Group is the largest disability service provider in the lower Hunter area. It employs more than 230 local people, made up of 100 supported employees and 130 staff. Throughout the regions including Cessnock, Kurri Kurri, Murrurundi, Scone, Muswellbrook, Dungog, Merriwa, Port Stephens, and Maitland more than 500 people with a disability are provided with services.
Services include: supported employment, supported residential living, employment recruitment and support, job skills training, respite services, day programs, accommodation support programs and much more including Hunter Business TimeSavers, Hunter PACE Setters, Hunter Grounds & Garden, the Enterprise Centre and Hunter LabourForce Solutions.
Mai-Wel is also a Registered Training Organisation providing a range of training to the Community Services Industry and Businesses.
Mai-Wel was one of the first disability organisations in Australia to gain Quality Assurance Accreditation and continues to uphold the rights of people with a disability.
