The Business Services DMI module is where all support records are completed per individual client against the 9 DMI Domains.
Support records are managed per client, per domain e.g. the Social and Behavioral Assistance domain and documenting support evidence.
CIMSability utilises a matrix of pre-configured answers to maintain consistency in the assessment comments across your administration team. Staff simply specify in the notes section a pre-configured answer indicating the level of support they have provided.
Services managers can configure a variety of responses. Some suggested responses include:
- support and supervision required
- verbal direction / instructions
- physical assistance / interventions
- observation
- referral – behavioral consultant, Training organisation
- counseling required
With the click of the mouse staff can record the date, the business unit, staff members and the support provided. This only takes seconds. The user simply selects the most appropriate response to describe the support they have provided.
A key feature is that CIMSability automatically counts notes against a Domain field.
After three months of data has been collected for the formulation of the DMI, this becomes the “baseline” for that client. A retrospective comparison of support needs to the baseline is then available on a per client basis which is used to identify changes in services requirements, which forms the basis of any a request for DMI reassessment.
