The software requirements of disability service providers in Australia are quite specific. As such, the pre-sales engagement/ evaluation process provided by Liveware Solution for CIMSability is based on detailed industry knowledge from an experienced consultant, not a sales representative and as such a set structure is in place to best manage the process. Our pre sales engagement process encompasses:

This document is a collation of information from a variety of tender submission requests. This document is detailed in its content and is constantly under review for additional opportunities to supplement the existing. To obtain this document please complete the form located on the Contact page of this website and a CIMSability representative will be respond. NOTE* Detailed submissions to individual tender requests are available as a consulting exercise. Again, please complete the above mentioned form to and a CIMSability representative will respond.

Product Demonstration; onsite or online demonstration of CIMSability is conducted by a CIMSability consultant. NOTE*Attendees from the organisations themselves must be in attendance i.e. CIMSability does not perform demonstrations for external consultants or individuals alone whom are not direct employees of the organisation. Onsite demonstrations with the exception of the initial consultation, may incur a travel/ logistics charge. This would be specified in advanced if applicable.
General Pre Sales Participation; a CIMSability representative will fulfil any request for additional information with regards to pricing, system requirements, project management and services.

Detailed Proof of Concept; In the event an organisation wishes to conduct detailed proof of concept work i.e. working with a consultant to proof the application on their data or conduct several sessions to qualify functionality in ‘consultative detail’ are provided as a consulting exercise. Standard consulting service rates apply. Demonstration editions of CIMSability are available for internal use subject to installation & training being supplied (standard consulting service rates apply).

The CIMSability Wage Assessment Module is based on the approved Mai-Wel Group methodology. Competency and Productivity Assessments are carried out and results are entered into CIMSability. The score & calculation is then quickly and automatically carried out by CIMSability producing an accurate Wage Level.

The CIMSability Wage Assessment Module is extremely practical and can be adjusted to any workplace. The interface is simple and easy-to-use which means the time staff take to score and calculate an employee’s wage is dramatically reduced. Unlike manual and spread sheet based calculations, providers can be confident in the validity of the scores and calculations.

How does the CIMSability Wage Assessment Module operate?

Skills are identified for each job role followed by the performance criteria for each task as per the business outlet. Benchmarks, based on capable employees are then entered.

An alpha scale is entered into CIMSability with corresponding point scores.

Current Minimum Award Wage Levels are entered into CIMSability.

The Wage Assessment is conducted by a qualified person.

The results of the Wage Assessment are entered into CIMSability along with the hours the employee works.

CIMSability automatically provides the score and wage calculation for each employee. This score can be recalculated if an employee is deemed to be granted a wage higher than the set minimum wage.

Previous Wage Assessments can also be copied and edited for the next assessment.

The BizServ module is designed specifically for the recording and reporting of support evidence as required by FaHCSIA. This feature is invaluable when submitting DMI reports and when providing evidence during audits.

CIMSability allows staff to easily collect evidence within the DMI Domains. The use of configurable ‘shortcut notes’ maintains the consistency of evidence across your support team as well as making the collection process accurate and efficient.

It takes only seconds to record valuable DMI Evidence. With the click of the mouse staff can record the date, the business unit and the support provided as well as having the ability to add ‘Flags’ to evidence to highlight the information to all users.

Collected evidence can be easily analysed to create the required DMI Summary Report. A key feature of CIMSability is that previously submitted reports can be used for comparison to future reports, creating consistency and accountability in the reporting process.

The increase in quantity of non-discretionary administrative and compliance requirements has placed an increased burden on limited staff resources. CIMSablity minimises the time staff are required to complete these tasks. This has a direct positive consequence of delivering more support time back to the clients with a disability.

CIMSability has and will continue to:

reduce the time staff take to complete paper work

reduce the need to employ additional staff to complete non discretionary compliance tasks

empower existing staff who find they can confidently and efficiently use the program

improve service delivery by providing the information our staff need to support their clients appropriately

provide a tool for Mai-Wel to record support provided to clients against the same criteria as the Disability Maintenance Instrument (DMI). By providing a user friendly application that our staff are able to use, we have found the support notes recorded against each client are providing a more accurate assessment of their support needs

deliver a solution to record client Progress Notes that suit the needs of Mai-Wel’s diverse programs such as Residential, Outreach, Employment Services (Business and Open) and Day Services. Group training notes are easily recorded ‘once’ and distributed easily to ‘each’ client’s CIMS file using the ‘Multiple Progress Notes’ facility

provide security and peace of mind that Mai-Wel is complying with our contractual obligation to Government recording and reporting client data

provide a central storage of client data that our staff can access at any of the Mai-Wel sites

an amazing improvement in the way client information is managed at The Mai-Wel Group

It’s hard to imagine how we ever managed without it!
