Product Endorsement
The increase in quantity of non-discretionary administrative and compliance requirements has placed an increased burden on limited staff resources. CIMSablity minimises the time staff are required to complete these tasks. This has a direct positive consequence of delivering more support time back to the clients with a disability.
CIMSability has and will continue to:
- reduce the time staff take to complete paper work
- reduce the need to employ additional staff to complete non discretionary compliance tasks
- empower existing staff who find they can confidently and efficiently use the program
- improve service delivery by providing the information our staff need to support their clients appropriately
- provide a tool for Mai-Wel to record support provided to clients against the same criteria as the Disability Maintenance Instrument (DMI). By providing a user friendly application that our staff are able to use, we have found the support notes recorded against each client are providing a more accurate assessment of their support needs
- deliver a solution to record client Progress Notes that suit the needs of Mai-Wel’s diverse programs such as Residential, Outreach, Employment Services (Business and Open) and Day Services. Group training notes are easily recorded ‘once’ and distributed easily to ‘each’ client’s CIMS file using the ‘Multiple Progress Notes’ facility
- provide security and peace of mind that Mai-Wel is complying with our contractual obligation to Government recording and reporting client data
- provide a central storage of client data that our staff can access at any of the Mai-Wel sites
- an amazing improvement in the way client information is managed at The Mai-Wel Group
It’s hard to imagine how we ever managed without it!
